just bought this eagle box after recomended and all i'm getting is this flashing on and off and it won't go into standby. what do i do please.

Plug it out for a minute, then try again.

I you still have a problem post back and tell us how you flashed it etc.

I would suggest that you use dreamup and a serial cable to reflash the box, it will take a while but it is the best way to do it when you encounter problems, and do your setup again.

done that no good. box won't turn off manually or by remote and the image just keeps on flashing. why me.

You don't turn it off manually or by remote when flashing with dreamup. You pull the power plug out.

theres nothing wrong with eagle images they are not corrupted ,you might have flashed the box and an error happened while transferring,or you could have been changing settings and not doing a reboot after changing
