After having problems with trying to get an EMU to work, mainly of which Keys files to use and where they should reside.
First press the HOME Button, and navigated to Plug-ins, then:
a). if "OpenXCAS" field appears, then press OK to obtain menu.
Select Manual Install.
Select the h**p://azboxworld.com url and press OK.
From the downloaded Menu, select mgcamd.tgz and press OK - the set of files should then download.
Exit to the previous list and select: Activation & Priority Setting.
Use the green or red Priority buttons to ensure mgcamd is at the top and not commented out with a "#", if so, remove it with the BLUE Activate/Deactivate button.
Press the yellow button to Start/Restart all camds.
b). If that menu is blank, then press the RED (add plug-in) button.
A drop-down menue will appear.
The first fourlines will have the same url, alter the second one to become: h**p://azboxworld.com, ang select that URL.
A dropdown list will appear with two items:
OpenXCAS
OpenXCAS2
Select OpenXCAS and the plugin will intall and confirmation of success with the download will appear on the screen.
Exit twice to reveal the screen with "OpenXCAS" at the top, press OK to obtain menu.
Select Manual Install.
Then select h**p://azboxworld.com and press OK.
From the downloaded Menu, select mgcamd.tgz and press OK - the set of files will then download.
Exited to the previous list and select: Activation & Priority Setting.
Use the green or red Priority buttons to ensure mgcamd is at the top, and not commented out with a "#", if so, remove with the BLUE Activate/Deactivate button.
Press the yellow button to Start/Restart all camds.
Common to the above:
Exit the Plug-ins menu and select the TV menu and navgate to a DigiTV channel - At this time it will be Scrambled.
From a working set of keys, copy the folowing files into: /EMU/OpenXCAS/mgcamd, by ftp (I use FileZilla):-
Softcam.Key
AutoRoll.Key
Autoupdate.Key
constant .cw
The above files should be CHMOD to 644.
Put the receiver into STANDBY, and switch the Receiver OFF and then ON.
When Booted up, the DigiTV channels should clear.
I hopes this helps because the file system is not the same as a Dreambox or a Technomate TM9100.
Hopes this also helps other newcomers enjoy their AZBox HD quicker.
