How to take snapshot from a recorded video

As the title .. how can I take a snapshot from a recorded video in DM800 ?

I tried cutedit .. but it gives a small thumbnail not a full image !

I save the video file in .ts format via ftp on to my pc then run it using vlc which has a capture button in its controls. Alternatively, you can save the video, convert it to your chosen format, I use QMC (quick media converter) then you can play it through your chosen format player and capture full size images that way. Handy for saving a shot from a music video to use as a jewel box label.

Image dependent but play the image on the box and then pause the image where you want to take the snap shot. Go to your computers browser and put the ip address on the box in and follow it with /grab

192.168.0.2/grab

This will take a screen shot of whats on your box and then you can save it as you will.
