Hello

I have a DM800 with Niablosat image. My official dorcel card was reading in CCcam 2.12 and then it stopped for no apparent reason. The only thing I could put it down to was that it was getting very hot from the internal hard drive in the dm800. The card works well in my eagle box. So I have tried a smargo as follows .. installed the firmware on the smargo. Modified the boot file on the dreambox and put the relevant line in cccam.cfg. Still it wont read the card. Tried both USB ports. The solid green light goes out on the smargo and starts to flash if this helps?

Any ideas?

What line did you add to cccam config to recognise the smargo?

This one...

SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+

It shows on entitlements but with no card

But as the internal reader is not working, I suspected that it is my box or the image. I have reflashed from the start, but reloaded the settings from my hard drive so may have re introduced an error.

I have modified the boot file with the following code as suggested

echo 90 > /proc/progress
modprobe ftdi_sio

If you use the latest Nabilo image you need to activate the drivers.

Blue button > blue button > kernel devices asfar as I remember

Then add this line to your CCcam.cfg
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+

viaccess. 5 channel dorcel inc free xtv. Installed newnigma and still no joy so I may go back to a factory reset.

There seems to be problems using cccam and the dorcel via card, some report that it is best read using newcs and updated using newcs 1.30/mgcamd
