Hi all i am trying to set up a new DB 500s i have gemini v4.6 image loaded with cccam2.1.2 i have put in the latest keys in the var file/keys. the cccam starts at boot up but i can only open fta chanels HELP!

First of all be sure that your dm500s is not a clone as gemini images have been know to carry a bomb that will leave you needing a jtag to get your box working again.

Atm the very few channels open using keys, didg at one west will open but you need to keep your keys up to date and use an emu eg. cccam, mgcamd

Thanks pawnee I have now loaded eagle v5 + cccam2.1.1 and latest keys but still only
fta open I have been at this for over a week now lots of reading and going nowhere.

press blue button once does it say cccam 2.1.1 there ?

it says common interface then below 1 softcam installed

you need to select cccam as your active cam and save it then reboot.

just as i thought

press sideways key where it says common interface until you see cccam then ok to start it

Hi all and thanks for your patience and help when i press blue button on the remote
common interface is selected but if press side button nothing happens if i press ok
it says sorry softCAM settings cannot be edited at this time?

Ok THANKS to you guys all up and running now got open what i had with my tm1500ci
how are you to know to press blue button twice to see if cccam started. I know this deambox can do allot more so i will be back im sure. Any short term tips would be much appreciated

hehe...we all learn the hard way...but it can depend on the image which ... for buttons you press twice.

Just start a new thread, ask anytime -- somebody will help
