dm800 sound

hi hope somebody can help me on this one.got a gen dm800.all has been working fine till the other day the sound just suddenly went off. have tried all sorts of things,settings, new cable ect.have not changed the image as realy do not want to do that is there a way of doing a factory reset without losing all my setting thanks for any help

To be honest you might be better off reinstalling a new image so as not to reintroduce the problem.

You can back up your settings and send them back once you reflash the image.
