It's better that 2.0.4 or 2.1.1 or even CCcam2 for AZBox.

If you look at alibecks post for multicas edit, it does all you need it to do.

http://geronimosden.com/showthread.php?t=13930

You really have to try some of this stuff yourself, all you need to do is read.

However, if you want to do it manually, use Plugins - OpenXCAS - Camd Setup - MultiCAS - Smartcard interface - Smart card splitter & CS - go to mode Client CCcam and enter the details for each server you want to connect to.

The press the red button to save for each.

Alternatively create a cccam.cfg file in MultiCAS and put some C-Lines in it.
the lines can only have this format

C: server port login password

nothing more.

Using the same method I described above, press the blue button to load the CCcam configuration, press red to save and reboot.

It's as simple as that.

Did you activate it?

From the start here is a walkthrough for manual install

Easiest Way :

Format Application Area.

Flash with newest FW : 0.9.3501

Connect on AzBox with FTP.

Enter in /PLUGINS directory and create there directory called OpenXCAS , so You will have /PLUGINS/OpenXCAS .

Inside of OpenXCAS , create file called module.seq .

Inside of /PLUGINS/OpenXCAS create directory MultiCAS , so You will have :

/PLUGINS/OpenXCAS/MultiCAS .

Put inside of MultiCAS folder file : emu_module ( MultiCAS 1.60 ).

On Your PC create file cccam.cfg with notepad++ ( This is very important that You use notepad++ because of linux letter formatting ).

like example :

cccam.cfg will contain :

C: some.hostname.com 12000 username password
C: some.hostname.net 12001 username password

Transfer this file to : /PLUGINS/OpenXCAS/MultiCAS

Restart STB.

Now , enter Plug-ins -> OpenXCAS -> Camd Setup -> MultiCAS -> Smartcard Interface -> Smart Card Splitter & CS .

You will see Mode OFF

Use navigation buttons on RC and navigate on right side until You see :

Client CCcam .

Now scroll down to the Hostname and press Blue button and it will load for You C lines stored in cccam.cfg .

Press Red button to save, go to login and press OK if all is ok it will write for You login success , if not login fail.

Maybe when You load config it will go to Mode OFF but back on and data will be there.

That is all.

On Exit connect to All servers ? press Yes .

Enjoy.

ive done allthis. pressed blue button and my c line info appeared in the correct boxes and it logs in ok but it doesnt clear channels. what chmod should the ccam.cfg file be. it has cleared channels but then goes off its no way near as quick as ccam 2.1.1, but from what ive read this is the best

After you press the blue button ake sure to press the red button to save the changes.

The config file does not need special permissions.

Try using the attached module.seq

Unpack and FTP to PLUGINS/OpenXCAS and overwrite the old one there, then chmod 755

Have you correctly configured cccam.config

eg: C: some.dns.org 12001 username password

Nothin else is included in this line, no brackets etc...

Hi I'm new to the AZ Box and I'm looking for help with MultiCAS. I've followed the guide to the letter but when I get to
"Now scroll down to the Hostname and press Blue button and it will load for You C lines stored in cccam.cfg ."
I press the blue button and nothing happens. All I have is an empty box. I have even entered the lines manually but when I press the red button to save it, it does nothing so I don't know if it is saved or not but when I try and watch anything I get the scrambled message. Is there anything else I can do?

Edit: I have managed to install multiCAS but when I press the blue button it only shows one line. I press the red button and I don't get any confirmation that it's saved but when I press return I only get option to connect to one server instead of the 4 I have lines for. How can I get the option to start ALL servers?

Pawnee
07-10-09, 17:04
Edit your line(s) as in example @ post #12

Then place this line in your cccam.config, which is to be located in /PLUGINS/OpenXCAS/MultiCAS/

iain66

Finally managed to get MultiCAS installed and pressing the blue button pulled through my 4 C lines but when I pressed the red button I got nothing. Should I have got a confirmation message? It appears to be working OK so that is the main thing. Thanks for the advice in the thread guys.

I had the same problem with MultiCAS, channels wouldn't clear after install. I uninstalled it and started from scratch and everything worked. You may want to try that.

After I had tried a few times I downloaded the module.zip from post #10, installed that in OpenXCAS and then followed the tutorial from there. Once I had done that it worked for me. If that doesn't work I'm afraid I can't help any more as I'm pretty new to the AZ Box myself. Hopefully one of the resident experts will pick up on this and help you.

Did you get the cline from a peer or are you just making one up to and inserting it in the cccam.config?

sut
13-10-09, 11:06
my c-line was sent to me so i could get the channels im after. if i switch from the multicas to dvbapicas using same c-line then it works ok well more or less just few to many freezes.

Make sure that cccam permissions are set to 755!!

Your Cline example looks find but make sure that there are no extra spaces or characters in your actual line.

sut
15-10-09, 13:32
hi

it is set to 755 and that cline is spot on. lol it looks like we running out of ideas here.

Pawnee
15-10-09, 14:34
Very strange why this will not work, it looks to be set up correctly from your end, maybe the problem is with your peer!?

One more thing to check is that your config is named exactly as cccam.cfg and not cccam.config

sut
15-10-09, 14:51
again no as the same cline is used on dvbapicas and it works fine. but when i deactive dvbapicas and cccamcas and transfer the cline to the multicas it wont work.

my config file that carrys my cline is named cccam.cxg ( i removed the f )
is that correct or should it be named cccam.config

is it as simple as i need to downloaded keys to open channels or something like that?

but as far as i cant see i have done everything correct.

thx for your help

Sorry I may have misled you, the config file should be cccam.cfg

Keys have nothing to do with sharing and can sometime interfere with sharing operations.

If it works in cccamcas then it should work in MultiXcas, so there must be something wrong in the MultiXcas installation did you install it manually or from a server?

Pawnee

Sorry to but in on your posts. I too had one hell of a problem getting MultiCAS to work. In the end I cleared out both of my folders (/EMU/) & (/PLUGINS/) and started a fresh install as per PAWNEE fine instructions..... "RESULT"......."It worked"!!!!!! I then installed CCcam 204 back on to the box and yes..... MultiCAS didn't want to know yet CCam 204 would work. I tried for an hour or so with no joy. so I cleaned up and did the same install from scratch again. MultiCAS is up and running fine..... I've just updated the emu_module on the fly with copy and paste in CUTE FTP (Halting the cam first with the >> + blue button) and the restarted the cam via the remote.....It's working fine!!!!! Conclusion = Conflicts between native CCam and MultiCAS!

if u instal multicas i don't know what u want to instal nativi ccam multicas is 100% better with multicas you can record with native no with natie you have to change 10 times chanel to clear with multicas no sooo if u want great box pleas instal last multicas :D

I too have problems. I have an AZBOX Premium running the latest firmware. I formatted the application area and then installed the firmware. I then installed the latest MultiCAS onto my system (v160D-BO2). I activated the cam and pressed the blue button and my cccam.cfg file details were entered albeit only one line (I have 8 lines). If I go to server I can select one of the lines only.

Now when i press the red button nothing appears to happen but at the "connect" section I can login succesfully but when i leave the menu and subsequently return to same menu the login line allows me to login but it does not appear to be "already logged in so to speak".

None of my channels decode apart from some which may be decoding as part of MultiCAS (on 1W). I previously was running it on cccam but changed cos everyone seemed to be praising the virtues of MultiCAS but now nothing really works grrrrrr.

So apart from loading Multicas and putting the cfg line in the same directory is there anything else I should be doing??

I've sorted my problem out now. It is important to ensure your cfg file looks like the example cfg. Mine had the word "yes" at the end of each line. When I removed that it worked.
