View Full Version : How to upload a softcam file?

Hi all, a simple question I know but can someone please remind me how to upload a softcam file to a 7020. The softcam files appear with a registry extension when unpacked so is it ok just to transfer it, as is, to the DB, and if so ftp it to where exactly? I have done this before but have forgotten if there are any changes or attribute stuff to do. I have been using Diablo stuff for so long I have forgotten about the ftp protocols!

Ftp the SoftCam key file to /var/keys, no need to chmod.

Pawnee, their is two files in the given link and both got softcams do we install them both ?

No one softcam one only needs to be installed

when you open them their is two softcam files ?
i am confused here can you help ?

One is a full set of keys for all emulators the other is just a softcam key file.

If you install the keys then you will already have the softcam.key and there will be no need to use the other one.

It is posted on its own because a lot of members only use a softcam.key file.
