Ngrab DM500

hi all
i have a dm500 conected to my router on router i allowed DHCP
on dream box also dhcp is allowed

i installed ngrabe lite on pc and gave the programme ip address of my dreambox

now i can not record any thing

my vindows is windows vista home premium and it is connected to router wirelessly

do you have any idea where , and what i missed?
can you please guid me true the correct direction

I would not use dhcp myself for the dreambox give it a static ip, also ngrab can be a nightmare to setup in vista due to the way its security features work.

Quick Guide (not my work)

This tutorial shows you how to record video from your dreambox.

1. Download NgrabLite that we will use to catch the streaming. http://rapidshare.com/files/106613039/Ngrab_Lite_1.03.zip.html

2. For Vista: Install Ngrablite anywere you want but NOT in the C:\program files folder because of privileges. For XP: Install Ngrablite any were you want.

3. Create a folder called "records" in the folder that you installed Ngrablite.

4. Share the "records" folder.

5. Open up Ngrablite.

6. Enter the ip of the dreambox and the port used (You must have configured the settings in the dreambox).

7. Choose "records" folder from the folder chooser in the left side of the program.

8. Click OK. Now you are finished configuring the Ngrablite and your dreambox. In the dreambox, select menu, then timer and add the channel and time you wish the dreambox to record. The recorded video will be stored the records folder.
