flash problem

trying to reflash my 7200 but dreamup runs for few seconds then says 'aborted by user' latest version has no delete option.

Are you using network or just serial method.

I will presume you are using a dm 7020

I am using serial method on dm7020 and i just want to get back to a clean install situation, clearing everything

Try using and older version and see if the error is repeated.

Also may be worth checking you have the correct null modem cable

I have tried dreamup 214b that used to do the trick but no longer, the null modem cable works fine on 6900?
Is there a better way to get this box back to square one?

You can try the browser method,

1. Switch off 7020, make sure network cable is connected.
2. switch on from the back while holding the lower button ( V ) keep holding untill you see ***stop*** in the display.
3. Take note of the ip being displayed on the 7020
4. open a browser and type in the address displayed.
5. When the 7020 web page opens select device firmware upgrade and choose the image you want.
6. When complete, just reboot and you should be good to go.
