Has Raitalia (Rai International) changed encryption? My Samsung Receiver says MediaGuard (or Seca like Rai)!

It's dark at the moment! :eek:

I was only specifying that I was talking about Rai International that is encrypted with BISS (BISS is the name of the encryption). :D

If I was shouting I would have used capital letters as everybody knows. :D

It has been reported:

"Both Rai Internationals on 10992V may have different Seca keys to Uno Due & Tre currently unknown or it may need a new emulator for yet another Seca variant as Biss is no longer in use on these channels." :rolleyes:

Rai africa e andata in seca solo per noi no per gli altri...

quello che hanno cambiato e' solo la codifica per l'uplink verso i satelliti che servono l'Africa gli e' servito solo comunicare il cambio di codifica e fornire la scheda apposita agli operatori dei Bouquet Africani per conntinuare a ricevere e poi impacchettare il segnale nei loro bouquet...se non ricordo male sono solo due i provider
Il segnale che arriva agli africani non e' comunque Mediaguard ma Irdeto 2 e Viaccess 2.5
Esattamente:
Intelsat 7/10 Bouquet RRSat Global Network frequenza 3808 V 10340 3/4 Viaccess 2.5 (footprint che copre anche l'Italia ma con antenne almeno di 300 mt)

Intelsat 7/10 Bouquet Multichoice South Africa frequenza 11010 H 30000 5/6 Irdeto 2 (footprint fixed sul Sud Africa)
